Carrie Silverman

Born Tucson , Arizona.

I started dancing at age four.

Went Former USSR at age seventeen and trained extensively with Rudolf Nureyev former dance partner.  

Formed Company The House of Dance.  

Adjunct Faculty at Pima Community College.  

Major in Theatre, Arts with a Minor in Dance at University of Arizona.  

Graduate Student at Cappela University in Post Secondary and Adult Education.  

My teaching style:  To teach dance in a fun and educational manner, and treat each student with kindness, and respect. To make the learning environment comfortable, and acknowledge that each student learns at a different rate.  

My Favorite Quote: "Big Dill" from a birthday card I got a few years ago. Why I dance (or Teach): Simply put it is what I was born to do.
